Well, we can't say we're were TOO excited to return to the great white north after a week at ASU in Tempe, Arizona. We had a great week of training in sunny Arizona, followed by a solid opening outdoor meet. Some highlights included four NCAA Regional Qualifiers... Tyler Kleinhuizen hitting a lifetime best in shot put at 56'1. Paul Hoplin going 196'3... and the vault duo of Joe Plencner and Brock Spandl both going 16'11.
I'll try to post some video highlights from the spring trip later this week.
Also, and I know this is a little delayed, but here is a video of Aaron Studt's 63'7 toss which earned him runner-up in the NCAA meet a few weeks ago (moved him from 6th to second on his last throw).
Sorry we didn't get video of the 3k... the files for the distance races are too large to post regardless!

Aaron Studt!!!
Aaron Studt got things started in a big way tonight in the shot put. To be honest, it still hasn't sunk in with his coach yet. Aaron hit a big PR to finish 2nd on his final throw (63'7)! Congrats Aaron and GO GOPHERS! Let's keep it going! Fisher, Mead and Rombough are at it tomorrow.

A Few Highlights
Here are a few video highlights from this weekend. The video takes while for me to upload on the site, so I'll put a few up each day. *Also, I'm not as biased towards field event video as it may seem, the running events are just too large of files to load most of the time. I'll try to get a few more uploaded tomorrow.
